TERMS OF SERVICE

Last Updated: [12/4/2025]

Welcome to Queerspace (“the Service”). By accessing or using Queerspace, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using Queerspace, you represent that you meet this requirement and are legally able to enter into this agreement.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Community Principles

Queerspace is designed as a safe and welcoming environment for LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies. By using the Service, you agree to uphold the following principles:

• Treat all users with respect and dignity.

• Do not engage in harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or targeted abuse.

• Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity in harmful or deceptive ways.

• Respect the safety, privacy, and emotional well-being of all community members.

• Do not post content intended to intimidate, shame, or endanger others.

Violation of these principles may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post (“User Content”), but you grant Queerspace a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content for the operation of the Service.

You agree not to post:

• Illegal content or content encouraging illegal activity.

• Pornographic content involving minors, sexual exploitation, or non-consensual imagery.

• Malware, spam, or content designed to disrupt the Service.

• Copyrighted content without authorization.

We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or threatens user safety.

5. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use information. By using Queerspace, you consent to that collection and use.

6. Safety and Reporting

Users can report harmful or abusive behavior through in-platform tools. We may take action at our discretion, including alerting law enforcement when required by law or when we believe someone is at risk of serious harm.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Access or attempt to access accounts that do not belong to you.

• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers.

• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) without written permission.

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to obtain source code for any part of the Service.

• Use the Service for commercial solicitation without authorization.

8. Service Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms occasionally. Continued use after updates means you accept the new Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for actions that threaten user safety or the integrity of the platform. You may delete your account at any time.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the Service will be free from bugs or security vulnerabilities.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Queerspace is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
